Non Invasive Ventilation Overview

This method gives ventilation support without an endotracheal tube or tracheostomy tube. The delivery of oxygen is via a face mask. However, it is inappropriate in haemodynamically unstable patients, patients with respiratory arrest, impaired cough or swallowing and those with excessive secretions.
